Yes, India’s Leading and one of the biggest banks SBI ( State Bank of India) announces that from 1 July 2021 new cash withdrawals rules for Basic Saving Basic Deposite account holders are going to change. let us see What are the charges after 4 Withdrawals for any SBI Account Holder after 1 July 2021? are to be changed?
As per SBI’s new rules that are going to change on 1 July 2021 if any BSBD account holder who uses any bank ATM machine for cash withdrawals including the bank’s branches are charged 15 Rupees beyond 4 free withdrawals. This means to say if you use an SBI ATM machine or any other bank’s ATM machine and SBI Branch to withdrawal money then, after 4 free cash withdrawals you will be charged 15 rupees with extra GDT applied in a month. These changes apply to BSBD account holders (Basic Saving Basic Deposit accounts).
Similarly, if you use cheques then, after a 10 success cheque use in a whole financial year extra charge will be taken from the saving account with an additional GST charge. After 10 cheques use, 40 rupees with additional GST will be charged on the saving account as per the new SBI charge rules announcement June 2021 on transactions through cheques in a financial year.
Both two rules are applicable from 1 July 2021 to further upcoming updates.
